Bannetons are vital to achieving the ideal flavor, texture, and aesthetic of your sourdough loaf. They provide physical support and moisture control during proofing for lofty, crusty loaves.

Place your shaped dough into a banneton and let proof. When your dough is proofed, remove the dough from the banneton and bake.

Our bannetons are sustainably made using pressed spruce pulp, the material we prefer over all others for its effect on the dough, durability, ease of maintenance, and sustainable source. Each banneton is branded by hand with a red-hot iron, heated over a flame.
